A perfect set of foams if you are considering re-trimming your seats or want to just change the foams as they have started to decompose.

This is for one seat, if you are restoring a pair of seats please add an additional item to your basket.

MK2 Escort front seat backs were manufactured by encapsulating the foam around the seat frame, unlike any other seats Ford, in connection with Recaro, decided to mould the whole foam around the frame in an attempt to save cost and time.

Unfortunately now when you have your seats repair, most trimers simply cut and shape foam, in an attempt to fill worn areas when the seat foam degrades - this will never repair a seat and therefore we have developed the same process that Recaro used to mould the foam - if you do a job di it correctly.

This foam has been made as an exact replica of the original item and shaped to take the later seat cover. All Mexico’s RS2000’s, Twin Cam and other models had the later designed shaped base cushion. You cannot fit a shaped cover onto a flat base foam
