A couple of years ago, I was asked to complete a Mexico to a very high standard,

looking for a good base vehicle to start with was no easy task and took a considerable amount of time.

We managed to find a very clean Sebring red Mexico, with low mileage and a nice set of Roll Top Front seats, but a standard rear seat.

Starting to strip the car we found that the panels, especially the floor was very good, with only minor

Sections of floor requiring replacement.

The use of a roller jig, that many people now copy, was extremely helpful, especially when you need to weld and grind back the floor sections

We actually cut most of the floor out in the end as it was easier to replace rather than fetal small sections at a  time

After paint, the nice bit was putting all the new stuff onto the car.
